April 1, 2017, Burbank, CA. At the annual Burbank Chamber of Commerce Gala, Angel City was presented with the “2017 Small Business of the Year” award. The Gala is orchestrated annually and serves as a premier fundraiser and a chance to celebrate three standout businesses that exemplify the spirit of the Burbank business community.

This year’s Roman-themed event saw the chamber name Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center as the “Community Partner of the Year”, represented by Kerry Carmody, who serves as the medical center’s interim chief executive. “Business of the Year” honors were presented to Premier America Credit Union, represented by the company’s community branch manager, Vickie Beckett.
“This is a tremendous honor”, said David Knight, President of Angel City Data. “Our team is humbled and thrilled by this selection. We hope we’re able to give as much as we receive from our community and the Burbank Chamber of Commerce. Angel City Data was presented with an award statue and signed certificates from various State and local officials, including Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Burbank Congressman Adam Schiff.
Congressman Adam Schiff and other lawmakers provided certificates of recognition to Angel City Data.
Among the dignitaries and notables in attendance were state Assemblywoman Laura Friedman, Vice Mayor Will Rogers, Council members Emily Gabel-Luddy and Bob Frutos, City Clerk Zizette Mullins, City Treasurer Debbie Kukta, City Manager Ron Davis and former mayors Michael Hastings and Anja Reinke.
